Dr. Silk grew up near Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated from Indiana University with honors. After receiving his MD from Indiana in 2000, he completed a comprehensive, five-year residency at the prestigious Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He was awarded a fellowship in plastic surgery at the University of Kansas where his medical and aesthetic abilities were raised to the highest levels. He has received additional training in treatment of surgical diseases in Alaska, and supplemented his training the humanitarian work in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic and Kenya .
Dr. Silk lives with his wife and daughter who all enjoy the beach and coastal trail walks .
