Dr. Romans has been practicing Plastic Surgery on the Central Coast since 1996, which makes him one of the most experienced Plastic Surgeons in the area.
He was born in Colorado but moved to California at a very early age. Since then, other than seven years away from California for his surgical training, he has lived exclusively here in California. He attended college at Pacific Union College in the beautiful Napa Valley, where he received a bachelor’s degree. From there he went to Loma Linda University Medical School in Southern California. He spent seven years away from California for surgical training at Michigan State University for General Surgery training followed by Plastic Surgery training at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. While there, he worked with world-class plastic surgeons that passed on their approach to Plastic Surgery to him. To this training he has added his own artistic ability and the resulting product is a surgeon with a passion for superior results and top-quality medical care.
I feel strongly that it is important that plastic surgeons maintain their roots in all areas of Plastic Surgery. I believe that the techniques required to do complex reconstructive procedures hone the skills of a plastic surgeon and make me a much better cosmetic surgeon. I love the variety of procedures that I do as a plastic surgeon. I also love that plastic surgeons are trained to operate all over the body, from head-to-toe and that we treat patients of all ages.
