Cosmetic eyelid surgery is frequently used to recontour patients’ eyelids, leading to a younger and fresher-looking appearance.

When you’re getting both upper eyelids or both lower eyelids corrected using eyelid surgery, it’s called bilateral eyelid surgery. During this procedure, the aging-related issues that appear on the upper or lower eyelids are addressed through removal of excess skin, shifting of fat deposits, and alteration of loose muscle tissue.
